Have -21 right now with wind chill around -40. Good news is that mosquitos and wood ticks have not been bugging me at all. And ice conditions are great! Probably have ice on the lakes till July :D

haha.. not sure it is cold enough in TX for this stuff. Supposed to be +12 F here on the South side of Atlanta tonight while my house-sitters in Anchorage are reporting a blast of warm air..... +47 !!! This after a couple of weeks of sub-zero temps up there.

hmmmm 12 degrees. Maybe I'll try the Linie Aquavit after all. I am off work for the next week.............

Only 73 in Havasu. Sure a long sleeve shirt is enough.

Dam now I have 2 friends in Havasu telling me how nice the weather is there.
Talk to me in August when it hits 115 in the shade and you don't dare touch your airplane.

Damn. I just read that the ice on Hayward WI is rough due to early slush and it sounds like the Famous Dave's flyin is off for this Sunday.

How about it, you long john wearing drivers.....any ideas for a meeting place in MN on Sunday? The weather sounds fine at a balmy +24F.

TRANSLATED High-quality aquavit is matured in wooden barrels up. Sometimes it is aged in used sherry barrels. Aquavit must have a minimum alcohol content of 37.5% which Vol. Der Kümmelgeschmack muss vorherrschend sein. The caraway flavor must be predominant. Er wird meistens eiskalt in einem Schnapsglas getrunken. He is usually in a cold glass of brandy to drink. Famous brands are among other Aalborg Akvavit, Bommerlunder, Maltese Cross, Linie and Kiel Sprat

No need for long johns here today as it reached a mild 40' .....Celcius that is (104'F). Summer has finally hit northern NSW. A cold winters day in my part of the world would be 25'F overnight and up to 48'F through the day. If we had two weeks of that weather we would think it an unusually cold winter. 8O

I don't know how you guys survive, even bacteria dies at 0'F

Cheers

Noel

Well here in Louisiana USA we have had our coldest morning for this year - - we woke up to 28'F.......... The bird bath here on the front deck, has a skim of ice! The little pine warblers, juncos and creepers don't know anything about frozen water. They forgot to bring their ice skates! And watching the gray squirrels slipping around on the ice while trying to gnaw through to get their drink is a hoot!
