Very nice.Thanks for sharing.

About 90% of my actual traditional bush flying is through video like yours. Though I suppose landing a helicopter in the confined area of streets and fields as I do on a regular bases could also be bush flying.

Watching you video reminds me how lucky I am to also have a good group of friends to share aviation adventures with though in our case just landing on a grass runway is a bonus and if it's under 2000 ft in length well we're really living.

Hi Bruce,
That's was I love about youtube, airshowbuzz.com, etc. It lets you see how others spent their time with their planes (some good some bad).
You should take your camera to work, give us a helicopter flight!

Anyone know if the Randy Alcorn listed as a passenter in the above video is the christian author who wrote "Treasure Principle" and "Heaven" and lives in Gresham, Oregon?

I liked your videos . I too , recently put a couple videos on youtube . I am new to this , so I don't know how to put the " Link " here . If any of you more knowledgable computer guys know how to do it , that's great with me . If you go to youtube and type in " BD Flying-2008 " , thats it . Andrew

Andrew was your 170 orginally powered with a Franklin? And how did it get to have the 220hp version?

My 170B started out in 1952 with 145 HP Cont like most of them , then in 1975 it was converted to 220 HP Franklin by an STC at SEAPLANES , INC . Washington . It has been a SuperPlane ever since .
My Son likes the paint also , almost Military look . I keep saying " someday I need to give it a real paint job . Someday . " :roll: Andrew
