Better be careful, they'll teach you to fly in Edwards then send you to a more Sandy/Mountanous region after you get qualified!

If the damn thing is remotely-piloted.... then why the hell can't I just stay at home? This could be the best "work at home" scheme ever devised!

With some of the things I've seen done with radio controlled models, maybe that's where they ought to be looking.

There's remote control, then there's REMOTE control. I would say Spicewood to the middle east comes under the latter heading.

Also, it takes more than a home PC running Flight Simulator to pull it off.

I hate to even show my son this post. He wants to do something like this ssssssssooooooooooooo bbbbbbbbbaaaaaaadddddddddd. He is always flying the sim at college.....thank my lucky stars he has 3 1/2 more years of school left. He wanted to be a pilot in the Air Force but his measurement sitting in a chair was too tall to fit inside the canopy. Maybe if Miles stays at his job long enough he can train my son in
