Of course you meant to say "pre-buy annual inspection". We don't want to get gahorn all rilled up. Bad enough your looking at a 206 and not a 170. :) Unless of course you need to haul the kitchen sink to next years convention

Our family has already been doing some planning for next year's convention. Boy have you looked up where that is....lots of airports around there.
Think of the 206 as a papa 170    all right I had to try didn't I. We will park in the back row.....
I hope to keep my family all together flying, it seems to be something we all enjoy. Even though Cajun Ron says I shrinking, it's going to the middle and I'm not getting any lighter, M.J. stays the same and as much as his mother thinks SHE is the only GIRL in John's life, there will be another so for all of us to come out to Pa. when you host a convention 8O we will need something a little bigger.

So hope to find a A&P to help me out.

W.

1. if your buying a 206 to fly to a convention in PA that I'm hosting, you've got PLENTY of time to shop.

2. You can park in the back row as long as your farther away than Ole Pokey which at least has a tail wheel. When you climb out of the 206 have a Scott 3200 in hand and ask how you can bolt that on the back of the 206. It will be a good ice breaker. Then we will feel sorry for you and your situation thinking you needed a 206 in the first place and let you follow us around for the week. :P

I don't know anybody in Sylvania but if you can't find anybody local there, I would recommend that you talk to Lowe Aviation in Macon. They have been in business in Macon for a very long time and enjoy a good reputation throughout the area. They are probably a little over a 2 hour drive from Sylvania so might be able to send a mechanic there for an inspection if the seller can't get it to Macon to Lowe's shop.

Hope this helps,

Check the cabin overhead beneath the headliner for corrosion, and the aft-most bulkhead (beneath the vertical stab.) for cracks... both areas of concern for a 206. The enginemount/firewall/nosegear on most 206's get a pounding due to folks trying to land them full-flaps without any load in the cabin. Look for wrinkles in the firewall and the doorposts.
