Reflective Tire Paint (Runway Markers)

Our runway tends to blend into the rest of the hay field during the winter and I want to make some edge markers. I have access to plenty of used AC tires but was wondering what type of paint to use. I was thinking white or silver but have no idea what type would stick and hold up well. Any experience and/or suggestions? Thanks, Bruce

White does very well...but if you REALLY want them to stand-OUT.... contact your local paving company supplier and obtain some rubberized white striping-paint and incorportate the reflective GLASS BEADS they use to make the hiway centerstripes REFLECTIVE!

But they would be a bear to see in the winter with the snow --- oh you don't have to deal with the white stuff in Texas

Are you KIDDING Paul? Have you seen what's happening today in El Paso and the panhandle?
4Shipp.... I went to my county tax assessor and she gave me a couple boxes of brand-new Texas license-plates which she'd removed from inventory. They are reflectorized (to allow laser-guns to grab your speed) and I used them for reflectors on my runway. They work GREAT!
