Need a Favor in NorCal

Post by cessna170bdriver »

I have a friend in Louisiana who's had a C-170A about a year, not yet a member of TIC170A, who is making the transition to Light Sport and would like someone to evaluate a Kitfox that is for sale near Brentwood, CA (the one between San Francisco and Stockton, not OJ's old neighborhood  ). If you can help, please shoot me an email.

Thanks,
Miles

Miles I am a little late but where is your friend in Louisiana. Will he still have the 170 for regular flying when he goes "light sport" or is he out of that cat. If I could help from this end let me know. I could contact him and maybe get him to spring for a membership in the association. I know you have probably already encouraged him to do so but maybe chatting with someone from this area might change his mind.

Evidently the Kitfox up in NorCal was a good deal, as it sold the day after my friend in Louisiana called for help to check it out.
