BP has announced they will not hire ANY more Louisianians/Cajuns to work on the oil spill/cleanup.

BP hired Ol'Gar and Ron Massicot, ordering them to clean 56 Brown Pelicans, ... and at the end of the day they had both DONE FAR MORE THAN ASKED FOR.

By noon they had not only gutted and cleaned all 56 birds, ...Ol' Gar had already made the roux, and Massicot had cooked 20 pounds of rice!

So much for hard work!

All merriment aside, George, It breaks my heart for what is happening to this part of our state. But what is really going to hurt is when the millions of migratory waterfowl flood the coastal marshes, some to over winter and some to prepare for the long hard trip over the gulf to South America. When they begin to land in this mess and are unable to continue the long hard trip to the wintering grounds is when another page of this disaster will become apparent.

"Drill baby Drill" doesn't sound so perky now does it? Sad to say there aren't any easy solutions now

More breaking news: CNN just reported that BP replaced the oil well cap with a wedding ring and it has immediately stopped putting out!!!! News at 11:00.
