Does anyone recognize the registration N9152A, or the painting in the attached photo?

The registration number isn't currently assigned, but there are several 1949 170A's that are close. Inferring from data on those airplanes this one would have been s/n 18913. There is an NTSB report from 1974 showing it ground looped at Naples, Florida with only minor to no injuries to the four occupants.

My AI found this painting among a bunch of miscellaneous stuff he bought at auction and gave it to me to see if anyone might know any history on it. It appears to be a well-done original acrylic, and is signed by a Winfield Brown. The best reference to an artist by that name I've been able to find so far is a 1990 newspaper article on the the 1940 collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Mr. Brown, as a college student, was one of the last people on the bridge before it collapsed. He was 75 in 1990, so odds are against him still being around. I also found a headline about a WWII Ace by that name dying in an airplane crash, but the NY Times wast $4 for a copy of the article.

You should still be able to go FAA website and order the CD, which would have all previous registered owners, lien holders, 337's and etc. Might be some leads that way.
