Sometime in the last few days I had a dream (it must have been a dream 'cause I can't find anything now...) that I read Benham exhaust stacks were again available. I have searched the forum but can't find anything. Did anyone else share my dream? Thanks.

Bruce

No I think you had a dream. Actually I haven't seen any information here on their current availability.

Was it the "marine" exhausts for sea-planes?

Thanks. I thought I saw a post saying they were available again for $485.00 or there about. It may have been an old post that popped up in a thread somewhere. Or a hallucination...

Bruce,
I think you are referring to the ad in the August issue of "The 170 News" which lists Bartone stacks now available for $485 from Pat Bartone.

As long as you are dreaming.... why don't you quote them at $50, installed by an adoring Morgan Fairchild during the accompanying all-expenses paid vacation on the Riviera? :P

Maybe because Morgan Fairchild is old enough (almost) to be my mother? Ok she's only 13 years older but still, I think we can do better

Yes I have Pat's number and will call, but as long as folks are lurking here maybe I can get a quick answer: do the Bartone pipes still require a field approval?

(Where is that can of worms smilie???)

Bruce, I am sure Pat's pipes will require a field approval. He does not have an stc.

Sorry, .... I forgot you were USAF.

She can work on my exhaust regardless of her age.

Richard,

I visited with John Benham yesterday. He indicated he is working with the FAA to straighten out the STC paperwork and does not plan to sell any kits until it is straightened out.
