Just hanging around the airport last Sunday and they finally decided it was a GO, even though the L-39 chase plane wouldn't ignite the APU. http://www.eaa.org/news/2011/2011-01-27_mig29.asp I was about 300 feet away when they put the boots to her. Two aboard and 900 gallons of fuel with full afterburner, off the ground in 1700 feet, a gear down flyby then a full afterburner clime untill it dissapeared. Yep, I was impressed! My bones are still ratteling.

It's now in Everett at Paine Field. They are planning on 5 more hours of flight testing, with flights to its service ceiling of 60,000 feet. After that I don't know what their plans are.
