Hi Guys,
Was wondering if anyone knows the location of SN 26438. My Dad used to own her. He first broought her home and taught me to fly in it when I was 5 years old. The day he sold it - it was like selling my best friend.
Just wondering if she's still around - or if anyone has a pic of her.

According to the FAA database serial number 26438, registration number N2218B is owned by a fellow in Belgrade Montana. They are not members of the association and I could not find a picture of the aircraft on the web.

The owner of N2218B was a member of the organization some time ago. You can see his posts on this site under his tail number. I do not know how to find out who it actually is. I checked the Montana Pilots Assoc. and he is not a member. There must be an FAA website to locate this plane. Steve

The current owner is not the person who posted here under that name when they owned the aircraft. The current owner as far as I can tell is not and has never been a member or ever posted here.

Thanks for the help guys.
If anyone sees it around - a pic would be nice, or even a contact for the current owner.

If the airplane is in Belgrade Mt. Call 406 388 1351 (Arlins Aircraft Service) ask for Arlin he has been on the airport since the mid 50's. He would be able to tell you if it is there.

Skyhawk,
Sorry I took so long to notice this. I usually check in every day but have been uncommonly busy lately. N2218B is alive and well. What a sweet plane she has been. I bought her from Don Harrell (a true gentleman by the way) back in '95 after he brought her back from Canada and we have shared about 1500 fun filled hours since then. I would be very interested to hear everything you can tell me about when you and your dad knew her.
PM me or share it here.
