Buried a long-time friend today

Today I attended the funeral of a long-time friend, and a lot of aircraft and engine knowledge went to grave with him. I'm sure some members that have worked with Teledyne Continental have crossed paths with Bob Moseley (a.k.a. Mose). For a number of years he was Factory Field Technical Representative for Teledyne Continental in a large area of the Midwest. He was also a long-time member of our local Cal-Mo Flying Club. After losing his wife to cancer in February, 2011, he went to Beijing, China and was manager of Technical Support and Training at the Superior Aviation facility. On November 17 as he was preparing to come home for the holidays, he evidently had a stroke and died in his apartment. So today, in the little town of California, MO the Baptist Church was filled with family, friends, and aviation acquaintances from all over the country including Tim Archer, Group CEO for Superior, and the Chinese owner, Cheng Shenzong and his daughter, from Beijing to pay their respects to a man that devoted his career to "keeping them flying". We'll all miss you, Bob.
