Lots of questions!!!! I presently have chrome cyls. Can you mix and match? Is there any value for used cyls? Is there a value for a rebuilt cyl with 150 hrs on it (chrome)

Answers respectively; Yes you can mix and match chrome. Run out cylinders have little to no value. A 150 hour cylinder has some value but not much.

We are lucky in having our Cont. O-300/C-145's in that new cylinder costs are the very cheapest of all new aircraft cylinders at $650-$750 each with no core. This fact makes overhaul of an old cylinder much less worthwhile as the price spread between new and overhauled is way less than say a Lyc. O-360 cylinder
