Someone is watching me...

At least that was the feeling today. While flying circles for picture taking, a C17 was often in sight or overhead. As a single or in schools, they were cruising all around the Susitna Valley.
Another sunny day here in South Central Alaska, so wife & I took a relaxing flight up Susitna River, with picture taking as the reason given to our munchkins.
Here’s to hoping the C17 pilots and crew had their wives or husbands up relaxing and taking pictures.

Thanks John. I flew 21 kids that day in the 170. One of the rare occasions when there were more kids than planes. Although its not that important those 21 put me over 300 total young eagles flights. I must say though that I prefer it when we are not so busy and I can spend more time with the kids particularly talking on the ground before the flights. Of the 21 there was one sixteen year old who was very mature and very interested. He went right into the flight school and signed up for lessons, so that sure made my day. We have been blessed at our local airport to have EAA Chapter 240 which has to be one of the best in the nation. Our Chapter president is a banking executive who is very tech savy and is passionate about our airport and aviation in general. That combined with a new airport manager who loves classic planes has made our home airport N57 one of the best places to be based. These guys are out to prove general aviation is not dead. Bill K
