I found a old woondn propeller in the attic of a building that my Daddy purchased in the late 60's or early 70's. This is a wooden propeller with six hole hub, brass leading edges, brass tips, and fabric insers on each end of the prop. It is a Sensenich Model 72CK42, S8338. I am just curious what it might have been used on.

My guess is a J-3 or a Tcraft with a Cont 65.

It would be the appropriate prop for a J3-C-65. Could also be used on other similar A-65 powered aircraft.

Harold, Use it as a prop on your Aqua-mobile. Ya think the engine could turn it? :)

The engine MIGHT turn it, but, I believe my "Baby Duck" has mutch too much drag in the water to be an airboat. :P

I found that from the serial number, my prop was manufactured in 1953 for use on the Continental 65 engine in whatever aircraft.
