Weather Station Bouys

Post by GAHorn »

I came across an interesting site: Offshore weather bouys.

https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page. ... tion=41049

The wave height charts are very interesting also. That bouy went from a 4-5 ft wave ht to a TWENTY-FIVE ft wvht on 9/11... I wonder if that was a storm-front wave fromFlorence.

Perhaps a rogue wave but with Florence in the neighborhood who knows?
Keep your speed up, Blackhawk on final behind you.
