I drove down to the Univair factory in Aurora, Colorado and got a tour. Very interesting, I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures.

Re: Univair visit
More pictures. Sorry there aren't more pics of the giant machinery. I was captivated by the NOS fuselages.
There's so much more i didn't show -- the fuselage jigs, the racks of Cub cowls, struts, spars, and control surfaces, the OEM skins for duplication, the giant paint and sandblasting booths, the many 5-axis CNC machines.

Re: Univair visit
A few years ago we have convention in Colorado. We did not visit Univair. I completely forgot they were there. Even had an extra half day waiting to our plane to depart and sat, I understand, 30 minutes away. I visit with Jim Dyer every year at Sentimental Journey in Lock Haven Pa., naturally a Piper based event. I always ask him what's new in the Cessna parts word and being a Piper event we both chuckle. Very nice quiet approachable guy. I've watched him grow up from when he first started attending SJ with his dad Steve. I still regret the opportunity lost not visiting with them in while Colorado.

Thanks for posting the Univair photos. I've been in the Aurora area multiple times and never thought about going to their facility. Nice that they will let you go through it.
