Took Murphy for a ride in the 170 a couple of days ago. Looks like he got bored. I think he wants the US/Canada border open so he can take the 180 to our camp in Northern Ontario.

Our black lab “Roulette” used to enjoy going places in the airplane. She’d sit up in the back seat and watch everything with interest ...until we climbed above about 1000’... then she’d lose interest and curl up in the backseat and go to sleep. About once an hour she’d get up and stick a nose up between us to get a “pat” of reassurance and then she’d lay down again. When I reduced power and lowered flaps she’d sit up again and watch the arrival ...and she’d patiently wait until we shut down and chocked it, and then she’d want out... but she was a great traveller. We miss her.
I think most retrievers have similar personalities. That’s a beautiful dog you have there.

You can guess which one cleans the belly... (Just kidding, of course. Great looking dogs ...and knowing the breed... they think people belong to THEM!).
