My 170B has a gray wool Airtex headliner that was in it when I bought the plane. I recently installed Airtex leather & vinyl seat upholstery and side panels. I'm pleased with everything. The seats are done in the original pattern but I opted for all leather seating surfaces with no fabric. The seat backs and panels are matching vinyl - you can't tell the difference by looking. I made the side panels with my wife's sewing assistance, using vinyl, foam, and adhesive purchased from Airtex. I also installed the Airtex pre-sewn carpeting.
