Ardmore OK KADM Fly-in Wednesday March 2 2022
This is an impromptu fly-in. There will be at least two planes at Ardmore Municipal for lunch Wednesday March 2. There is a good restaurant on the field or we can get a courtesy van and drive to an excellent BarBQue. The forecast is excellent. Plan for wheels down at 11:00.

Our impromptu fly in was a total success. Five members arrived in four planes at KADM for lunch at Jake's Joint. The name Jake's Joint makes one think it may be a ramshackle dump, but in fact it is very nice with a diverse menu and reasonable prices. It is only open for a few hours at lunch time so don't show up early expecting breakfast.
The members attending were Karl Towle, Charles Ross, Paul Wood, and Jim and Vicky Yates. The airplanes were two 170B's, a 170A, and a Helio Courier. The Helio Courier belongs to Charles Ross. Charles said the Courier is too large and too thirsty so he is in the market for a 170. Charles is one of the newest members of the Association and we were really pleased he was able to attend our little fly in.
