President Karl Towle and wife Nancy hosted our November fly-in at their home in north Texas Saturday, the 18th.
It was a picture perfect day, so-to-speak. They had ordered a beautiful VFR day to share with us and that is what was delivered. Good weather, great friends and a wonderful lunch at Babe;s BBQ Chicken.
We all appreciated Karl and Nancy hosting the fly-in. They live in a beautiful airport community with a well maintained grass runway and have the ideal parking area in their back yard, which was adorned with 7 C170s, 1 C195, & 1 C180
Twenty members and guests were present to enjoy the day: Steve Armand, Krystal Towle, Chuck Miller, Mark Morris, Rusty Morris, Dave Bengtson, Virginia Hummer, Jim Yates, Jake Jones, Liam Henning, Hugh Grandstaff, Richard Pulley, Paul & Debra Wood, with Lucy & Frankie Roberts, Karl & Nancy Towle, Lowell Henning, and Ken Peck.
