Hello
I have a 1948 170 with metalized wings. Is there an stc for this or a kit? My log books dont go back to cover the change so i was wondering how it came to be

There are at least 5 metallization STCs. You can pull your aircraft records for free (http://cares.faa.gov). If the conversion was done legally there should be a form 337 recording the work.
