Yeah, I would think that it would be much easier to just move the brake calipers to the rear. Given that the rigid brake line runs behind the rear edge of the gear legs, I think you would also end up with a cleaner setup at the transition from the rigid brake line to the caliper - pretty much a straight shot for a flexible line there (which you should have if you don’t already). Just check that the opening in the fairing mounting plate is large enough for the brake caliper and trim the opening as necessary before installing it.
