Has anyone used a different exhaust for o300?
For example straight pipes from an aeronca sedan .

Since you mention the Aeronca…. I’ll suggest the answer that “Yes…many different exhausts for the O-300.” There’s the 170, the 170A, the 170B, the Swift, the Maule, the 172, the Meyers, the Taylocraft, etc etc Then there is the “Benham” and/or “Bartone” tailpipe alterations.

Your question does not indicate what you specifically wish to accomplish, or why. Are you simply having to face the issue of a worn-out exhaust system and so therefore seeking an alternative? (The best thing to do is likely keep the same system and repair or replace it.) :wink:
