Sportsman STOL with/without vortex generators

We just installed the Stene/Sportsman STOL kit on our 55 C170B. Only one test flight post install but we did dozens of stalls to get a new baseline. Amazing difference. Very happy. Next step is to paint the wing but before we do, I wanted to get some feedback on the STOL kit without vs with vortex generators. Pros? Cons? Anyone who has done the STOL only and put some time on it that way and then added the VGs who can give me some good comparisons. Thanks!
