Magneto and alternator filters
I have alternator on my plane and have been advised to use fitlers for the mags and alternator. Does anyone have experience with these and as the alternator filter is about $200 can one get away with out them? Also perhaps you have run into this one but just realized my stall warning horn is toast and new kit in Spruce catalog runs about $800 any less expensive ideas. Thanks and I will look forward to your ideas on these topics Cheers gary

Magnito and alternator filters
A few years ago my stall warning unit quit working and I looked inside of it. It sure looked like a Radio Shack buzzer to me. The only other thing I saw was a normal looking light bulb.
After looking at it, it suddenly began working.

Generator/Alternator Filters
I was having a problem with people telling me that my transmissions were garbled (I've had others tell me the same when I talk) but thought that the problem might be electrical this time
. I first tried new magneto filters but no change was noticed. I then tried an Amer-King AK-950-FTR1 filter and it seems to have cleared up my garbled transmisson problem.
