Midwest Antique Aircraft Club

Post by Stan_Lindholm »

Met a member of the Midwest Antique Aircraft Club (MAAC) at the Antique Aircraft Association fly-in this weekend at Blakesburg, IA. Unfortunately, he left before I got his contact info, and I forgot his last name. MAAC sounds like a club I would like to belong to in addition to TIC170A. I couldn't find a web site for them.

Does anyone here belong to MAAC or have contact info?

Thanks!

Send a note to the MAAC treasurer (PM me if you need the info). They will send you an application form. Annual dues are $20.00.

Their annual flyin event is next weekend at Brodhead, WI. You must be a member to attend, and the cutoff to qualify was earlier this summer. Join now to attend next year!

Best Regards,

John

Post by bradbrady »

hi guys,
dad has been a maac member for years we just made our first pilgramage to brodhead this weekend we took my skyhawk because it was in the front of the hanger (i feel lucky i was let in with a nose wheel) this place is the best place i have been in my life (at least since i could fly) i rember dad and mom taking us to rockford IL. in 1964 to the eaa flyin that is the same feeling i got from brodhead this weekend about 40 years later this place has to be experinced (i went over rockford asking for flight flowing (haze was realy bad) and thought you people could have been oskcosh) the lack of huckstures and the feel of aircraft people talking aircraft to any one who wants to talk was unbelivable im still realing about the people i met and the discussions we had if you can you have to experince this weekend,
brad
