Need lead on a mechanic for a pre-buy inspection in California on a plane located at Grass Valley Airport (KGOO). Any help appreciated. PM me with any details.

Jim,
I'm certainly not qualified to do a pre-buy inspection, nor do I know anyone up that way who is, but I plan on going up to Columbia Oct. 7 & 8. It's not that much further up to Grass Valley if you'd like me to take a look at the plane, and maybe get a few digital photos.

Thanks for the offer to help. No Bruce, I am not getting into another project....Lolly would have a fit. What I am doing is helping an Airforce friend in California purchase his first airplane. He's a TOP GUN pilot, but wants to have a real airplane for fun. However, he's gun shy of taildraggers and is looking at Brand B......

Inspection
Dave at Lincoln Skyways is a good guy and very thorough on this type of thing and not far from Grass Valley. If there are any concerns he will not be shy about pointing them out. 916-645-3449 is there number. They have done good work on my plane and are never shy about pointing out "concerns".
