cartoon wanted
hello again
i have searched off and on
for several years for the
cartoon depicting a man
and, i assume, his wife
lying in bed.
she has a dejected look on her face
as he is sitting up with his hands out
like he's holding the yoke and flying.
i.e. he'ed rather be flying than having sex.
i remember seeing this in airplane
magazines when i was in high school
taking flying lessons, so about late 60's.
does anyone have a copy of this cartoon?
if so, could you post a pic of it?
thanks
dave

i'm very serious about this guys!
i have looked for it for years.
i know its not that big of deal
but a something that been left
undone.
i even asked the 'flying' magazine
boys at oskosh if they could
look it up for me.
perhaps if i offered a reward,
say $50.

Iowa, I believe what you are looking for was on the front page of an old Trade-A-Plane. You might contact them to see if they can help you.

thanks for the reply bruce!
yes, i'm still looking for that cartoon,
and the reward still stands!!
also, another cartoon i remember
is the one that shows a cleaning lady
holding a mop in the control tower,
during the controller strike,
and also holding the microphone,
saying,
"alright, the big ...... one can land now
and then that's it!!!"
anyone remember that one?
