George is quiet
George,
I noticed you have been very quite here lately. Miss hearing your comments so often. Also, whatever happened to Susan? Since you changed to this foremat I think she has only posted one time.
Just making comments. Still think this site is the best of its type on the internet.

I wrote Susan before vacation. Here is her reply:
Hi Jean Daniel,
Susan has been working four jobs, and waiting for her husband to get his
pilot's license. He just took the ground written test today and got 97% on
it.
I have a taildragger instructor lined up to start teaching me again as soon
as John gets his pilot's license. He is going down to Orlando, Florida
with my husband in two weeks to pick up our two boys from a vacation
they're taking with a friend, in our 170B.
I'm cutting back on my job hours in a month or two, and will have time to
eat, sleep, breathe, and email more often then. <smile>
No, we're not going to Oshkosh this year, but we plan to next year, probably.
Everything else is fine. I just wish I had time, and was working for
myself again. I'm working toward that, though.
Tell everybody I'm just working too hard...
Thanks for the photo!
Take care,
Susan

Was this the Susan who gooned me for a couple of calendars? Sent her a paypal payment but never even got a reply back.
I can understand people having problems, etc. But the courtesy of a reply and an explaination is ALWAYS appropriate. In those cases I can forgive and forget, but not here.......

I believe we are talking about the same person. You're not the only one who had that experience. I admit I was little hesitant when I first started up the calendar project because of those past experiences. I was concerned that they would think I was up to the same shenanigans. Fortunately, that's all behind us now.

Well, if the avatar is any indication, the gender-change operation was a huge success! (But you were wise to drop the use of the fringe.)doug8082a wrote:I believe we are talking about the same person. You're not the only one who had that experience. Sorry, Doug for any possible references that were drawn from my posting! The trouble i had with the calendar order was back in 2003 (as you said) and was certainly with a different person.
I'm so glad you took on the calendar project. Well done and a bonus for the assn.
