FYI. We built a 10 unit T hanger in 2005 at a cost of $428,000. That number includes about 50% for site work prep and 50% for the actual building. It is a steel building with bi-fold doors. It has electric service and lights. It has an asphalt base. Units have a 45 foot door, are 39 foot deep and have approx 13 foot opening.

We had quite a few bids and the contractor who got the job was from Fargo ND.

You cost sounds a bit high, but hard to compare without knowing just what the job entails....

Iowa, if you want some specifics, send me a pm and I'll put you in touch with our airport manager. He's very knowledgable about both the grant application process, funding, and building projects.

but it is all in the works now.
we pay 5% out of our pockets
so about 30K
but i'll keep you in mind
