For Older Pilots

Post by Harold Holiman »

I know most pilots also like cars and most older pilots expecially like cars of the 50's and 60's. Those of you who subscribe to "Over The Airways", which is a very good site for all pilots, may have already found this. Turn up your sound and go to http://oldfortyfives.com/CarsWeDrove.htm
Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for that link! Very cool. 8) It would be cool to have a CD with all those songs on it. I think that drag strip was the Carlsbad Ca. race way. It was about 2 miles from the approach (Eastern) end of Carlsbad airport. Now it is all commercial/retail buildings. I sold my 1969 Camaro in 1983 for $2800. Now it would be worth about $35000! 8O Maybe I'll save my money and get a new Camaro when they come out. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/

I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND A BIT OF IT!

I'M A '36 FORD TYPE.

DURING THE BIG WAR, " DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS" WAS VERY POPULAR.
