That "airport" at Courchevel, France, is almost as sporty as some of the Idaho back country air strips, such as "Mile High". Of course, Mile high has no runway markers or pavement, and has been known for its appetite for Super Cubs, and a few other types, flown by wannabees.

Yep, All I need is about 4-500 miles more range to make the hops to Greenland, Iceland, and Scotland.

Whenyou get your airplane all tanked up for the trip to France, I know you'll be carrying an emergency tool kit. A friend of mine who has made the trip a couple of times strongly suggests you include a pair of toenail clippers, the kind that is like a pair of diagonal pliers. This ,he says, is an essential tool to cut the pucker string when you finally get to Shannon.
