Looking for a C170 CFI in KC area

Post by Jinkers »

Hello,

I have recently purchased a 52' 170B in the Kansas City area and need a CFI checkout/sign-off to satisfy the insurance company. Does anybody know of one in the KC MO area? A CFI with access to a 170 in the Northern Colorado area would work too.

Thanks,

LeRoy Cook, in Butler Missouri, the veteran instructor and aviation writer is available most afternoons Monday thru Saturday. He would be a great training resource for your 170.

Thanks for the reply Birdog. I have arranged for an instructor already but it's always good to have a backup plan if necessary.

Something that I noticed on the Maule owners site was a sticky post with a list of CFI's that did instruction in Maules. I suspect that it's alot easier to find a C170 qualified CFI then one with Maule experience but a list like that on this site somewhere would be usefull for new owners like me.
