BIC 4 color FINE point pens

Post by iowa »

hello everyone
i need a favor
i have used the BIC 4 color pen most of my life
the FINE point one
the one with the ORANGE barrel.
BIC has apparently decided to discontinue these pens!!
i have found that certain stores still have a few left
usually Wal Mart.
next time your shopping there
could i get you all to check and see
if they have any left
buy and send them to me.
i'll be happy to reimburse you for your trouble
thanks
dave

Dave,

Put my wife on this and she came up with one at the local Pharmacy. We'll keep looking for a bit and see if we find some more then send them to you.

I've been to several stores in the DFW area and found none. I went to an Office Depot and they immediately told me the discontinued pens are replicated by another mfr', "Foray" in fine point and they are the same type with four ball-pen cartridges in the same pen, blue, red, green, black. They also said any Office Depot can order the BIC brand in medium point for you, item 514666 , $21.99 per dozen. I found them at the Office Depot website:

George those Forey pens are a cheap knock off and I'm sure Dr. Dave couldn't be seen with one of them least while he's sporting the Rolex he picked at the convenient sidewalk shop in NYC. :D

I was surprised when he admitted to using BIC pens. I'm proud of him! Being a rich doctor, I imagined he'd only use a Caran d’Ache ($230K) ( http://thelongestlistofthelongeststuffa ... ive96.html ) or perhaps, on more formal occasions, he' prefer to use his Montblanc Mystery Masterpiece ... a mere $730K.

Of course, that'd be ridiculous.... they don't write in FOUR COLORS.

I was just joking, of course! We all realize he's not like those other guys. He's one of US. He's got an airplane and he stays BROKE paying for PARTS and FUEL!

Dave,

Elaine being a lab tech, she told me she understands completely why you need a multicolored pen. Don't listen to those philistines!

Now that I have a picture of what you want, I'll keep an eye out for them and buy whatever I can.

Best Regards,

John

The book looks real interesting and I would like to page through it.
But Dave, the pen is just a pen.
