Perusing this forum I have seen several of you mention Gastons as a great place to fish. Having a son who likes to fish I decide to plan a trip out to Arkansas and check it out ourselves. You guys were right we caught about 30 trout the first day fishing with a guide. The second day without the guide we caught 3. Needless to say the son thinks dad has a lot to learn about fishing. I also wanted to mention another place that we stopped at that I consider a must see for any of you interested in classic planes, that is the museum at Creve Coeur. They have a beautiful collection of about 45 planes from between the first and second World Wars. If you stop there though either visit on the weekend or call ahead for an appointment as it is not generally open during the week. If you are visiting St Louis it would be a big mistake to miss this place. Also hit the AAA fly in at Blakesburg before returning home. If you like lots of old planes and talking to their owners and pilots thats a great fly in and its a whole lot cheapper than OSH. You will see more really old stuff as no radio is no problem as they don't use radios. Bill K
