The presidential TFR is for the sitting president. Former presidents do not get protected airspace.

I have wondered about this also. Would not be surprised if a 5 mile radius of Crawford wasn't still off limits, but if that were the case then anywhere W might be would be subject to the same criteria which would include his new home in Dallas. Agreed, it will be nice not to worry so much about TFR's near Waco. There are enough of those for ballgames, etc these days.

A possibility:
When George H. Bush left office a prohibited area, P67, was created around his summer home in Kennebunkport Maine. It is permanent and is one nautical mile in radius up to 1000 feet ASL. This is not a major inconvenience as you can still follow along the coast in that area but must be cognizant of this small area.
Not sure if other former President’s homes have a similar prohibited area or not but the precedent has been set in Maine by another Bush.
