bluEldr, did you know Roy Immel? He lived just west of me a few miles on a grass strip, and was an old B47 driver. He had a 150 Texas Taildragger until his most recent acquisition (pictured at the following link, a local EAA newsletter, which announced his recent trip West.)

No. Sorry I didn't know your friend, the B47 driver, However, chances are pretty good he's not the only one I didn't know.
