Pietenpol Weight & Balance

Good Evening Everyone,

I have a good friend who's father-in-law is nearing completion of a 40 - yup, 40 year quest to build a Pietenpol. He is in his 80's and to see his craftsmanship, and attention to detail is was really really amazing. When I spoke to him the other day he mentioned that it's almost ready for the trip to the airport and final assembly.

The conversation moved to weight & balance and the point that he does not have weight and balance data for the Pietenpol.
My question to all of you is - Have any of you owned one, or know of anybody that does? If so I would really like to be able to contact them for some guidance.

It has a Ford motor for power and I can get additional information as need... Hope everyone is well. Thanks allot

Have your friends father-in-law call my good friend Paul Kruse 309-723-3901 He has been building a Pete for several years....many more than I have known him...be ready to talk....he is Irish like me, but I have never kissed the Blarney stone...apparently Paul HAS He will make your receiver ear hurt He is very knowledgeable...what he doesn't know off the top of his head, he will give you an on-line link to. He just sold his model A and is thinking to install a Corvair.....Like I said call him......Brad

If you don't get the info you need the Golden Age Air Museum in Bethel, PA has a Pietenpol with a Ford motor. I'm sure my friend Paul Dougherty the owner operator would be willing to share the needed information. http://www.goldenageair.org/
