Scott 2000 series parts

Post by Brad Brady »

Looking for Scott tail wheel parts......Especially the P/N 1781 cap bushing and the 1800 bushing.....found the tail on a J-3 rocking and told the owner he might want to have the bushings replaced.....Well here is the places we have checked so far,
Aviall,
Wag Aero,
Cooper( ie AAR),
Wicks,
Spruce,
Inter-mountain Piper,
MAC Piper.
So far no joy.....if anyone has a source I would appreciate a response......Brad

John,
Used your link and ordered the parts tonight......assuming that they arn't on back order.....I talked to Aviall and they could get the parts with a 10 week lead time......Hope the same isn't with Spruse....we'll see... thanks again ....Brad

John,
Just looked up my email....Spruse had the 1800.... what I thought more important.....the 1781 is on back order.....I think I'll let it come through, though....I work on several 2000 series tail wheels......again thanks for your help....Brad

Found this link below for a 1781. Didn't find a phone number, just a website, so I couldn't check on stock. Maybe they have 1 in stock and you could get the repairs done quicker.
