I guess I'll stay at a nickel...since I had the destination wrong. Pax informed me of the change as they arrived at the plane. (Ain't coporate aviation amazin'? Good thing I'd tankered fuel...a simple destination-change took care of it....Williston, ND instead of Gunnison, CO) 8O
Picked up a half-inch of ice on approach.
Second-surprise of the day: Another short-hop over to Dickinson, ND ....(another half-incher approach) before heading back to sunny and warm TX. Ahhhhh...

"...beautiful, beautiful Texas,
Where the beautiful bluebonnets grow.
The land of our forefathers
Who fought at the Alamo.
You can live on the plains or the mountains,
Or down where the sea breezes blow,
And you're still in beautiful Texas,
The most beautiful place that I know."

(chorus of the song made famous by TX Gov. Lee "Pass-the-Biscuits, Pappy" O'Daniel and the Lightcrust Doughboys in 1933.)
