I moved my regular seat-stop forward sufficiently to restrict my pilot-seat from sliding so far aft that I cannot maintain control of the aircraft. I still make certain my seat is properly secured prior to starting the engine.

we're a Cessna Service center so I was able to look over the kits before I decided to use them, seems pretty straightforward and should work fine, with no screwing around other than the normal seat adjustment lever to move if you need to move your seat in a hurry. My tracks are almost new limits so I'm not worried about the AD and even so sometimes the seats are finicky about locking, so these kits are an easy "belt and suspenders" safety add-on in my opinion.
So I installed both sides yesterday afternoon, pretty simple but some re-engineering was required in my airplane's case - the instructions say to install the reel on the "aft-outboard" seat leg and then are specific about wanting the bolt in the floor relatively straight ahead of the reel. Unfortunately on my airplane in the zone called out for the anchor bolt doubler, there is an inspection plate on both sides! so I moved the reel to the inboard aft leg, then the geometry is correct. the kits are easy to install, kind of funny to observe that there is a lot of appropriately sized hardware etc to make the installation strong but in reality the whole seat (and my fat butt) is held in place in the event of a "whoops" by 2 adel clamps. Also my seats adjustment lever setup didn't match exactly to any of the kit examples but that wasn't a major hurdle either.
some kits were recalled the first go-round due to defective reels (wouldn't latch when required), and lo and behold I found one of my reels defective also even though these kits were new. Luckily we had other kits in stock so I could trade reels, and my parts gal will return the defective one to Cessna for credit. I realize not everyone works at a Cessna shop so I do have some advantages here.
all in all, I think these kits are a good safety improvement and much easier on me than Blueldr's setup, also my daughter for example would not work with that setup
