Sunday was one of those great January winter days!
8" of ice at my place, 7MA2. The breakfast club flew up to Alton Bay, but I stayed home and gave rides to my daughter and family who had come for a visit.
As you can see on my girls' face, she loved it!

That's a Ralph Bolins gear. It's similar to the 170, but it extends downward a little more after the bend to the axle. Plus the axle has the 4 hole pattern and the center of the axle passes thru the leg capped with a nut.
It looks like it's squatting because it has full tanks, me (190#), daughter, guy in the back (180#), and his little girl.
It just came out of its annual inspection. I hosed the heater air box with WD40 before I put the cowl on. You can see the remnants on the right, lower corner...
I have to be careful with that gear. I don't know if I could ever replace them.
