Yes Doug I heae the same thing from my friend in Lake Havasu. We'll talk in July/August when it's so dam hot in your area you can't touch your plane for fear of 3rd degree burns.

BTW it is flurrying this morning again.

W. did you say your at 60+ inches? I'd think you'd have more than that. I believe we've gone over 70 and closer to 80 inches. The previous record we broke two storms ago was 65 inches in a year.

I am sorry, I didnt mean to gloat but this global warming is hurting me. I just wish the old nasty thunderstorms would come back in the summer months. I pass through the DC often almost every weekend. This week I didnt have to but usually do. Stay warm guys. I am trying to arrange the time off for the convention in Michigan. D

That might have worked in what they called a snow storm in Dallas but not here in PA.

BTW it has been flurrying on and off Saturday and this morning (Sunday) not amounting to any accumulation but keeping visibility to under 2 miles keeping the local flying to a minimum. All the remanence of last Friday's storm.

Hows that work pulling the snow behind you? I figure it's be good for a few feet and that's it. I'd have to turn the blade around and push backward.

Heck-Fire! .... I don't know! That's only a picture of a N-Ford tractor in snow somewhere!

Here at Spicewood,... we got 6-inches the other day and I had to drive thru 1/4 mile viz in falling golf-ball sized snow last week to get to a Hawker in town and fly it out somewhere. By the time I got back the next afternoon....it was all GONE! Just a muddy road back home.

But I agree,... it'd probably be best to reverse the blade and back-blade it.... or at the very least to angle the blade 30-degrees or so to blade it off to one side.

I got 40+ inches of wet HEAVY snow over 3 days. I had to shovel off the flat roof on 1 of my hangers to be safe, 45ftX60ft, that was worse than a stress test at the doctors. Pretty much plowed everything with my truck but still had to get the tractor out with the bucket to stack higher and carry away. George, that 8N with the back blade would be like tits on a bull in this snow.
