With that sign we sure would - even though we're Methodists!

Willy,
I did not know there are Baptists in Minnesota, I thought just Lutherans, Catholics and Bachmannits.

I was not a fan of Lost in Space. To young I guess. Didn't care for the suspense which came shortly after those words from the robot. But to this day I often think of or speak those same words with a chuckle at appropriate times as you did John. My wife and kids think I'm crazy when I do and just don't get it.

(Being a grad from a Baptist Univ. should give me the right to make the following comment. )

I can assure you that church sign was not in Spicewood. We do have a small, country, Baptist Church here, but it's sign is neither so sophisticated, nor it's msgs quite so genteel. As a single-parent (years ago) I pulled my daughter out of it's Vacation Bible School/Camp when, during a surprise-visit, I found one of the pastors shouting to the kids thru a megaphone that "the Devil is out to GET YOU!"

There isn't a Presbyterian (or any other Reformed Church) within 30 miles but that's where we returned, after that experience. 8O

George I can assure you that sign can't be found in Spicewood TX and I've never been there. Reading the gray sign lettering says it all. :)

That's really funny. I wonder why they felt the need to call out pilots? Maybe I'm missing something going on in Texas.
