I don't know if anyone would enjoy this photo - I "landed out" near Ionia, Michigan and thought this would be a neat picture. I should have turned my sailplane around.

Yes, Ionia is a good place. I assume you didn't fly the sailplane all the way from Nevada.

No. I'm not that good. I was an East Coast pilot then.

It would be fun to see the glider tied to the tail of the C-47 as a Tow-Plane! :P

Hmmmm - LOL, now that I have re-read what I posted it does seem to be a tad off center - of course we all know that ALL 170 pilots - irrespective of geographic location are far superior to other pilots (expecting feedback on this as well)

I did not mean to infere any negativity in my original post. And I would like to state, no humans (or pilots) were hurt during the taking of that photos. :roll:
