Thoughtful Wife

Post by cessna170bdriver »

Karen's been helping quite a bit with prepping '98C for her new windshield and interior, and evidently has been observing my lack of organization in the hangar. Our 6th anniversary (Iron) was Friday (er... Saturday  ), and here's what my thoughtful wife came up with for a gift. I hope she's as happy with her decorative wrought iron wine rack as I am with these two items. I think I'll keep her...

Actually that's what SHE does for Christmas, and really makes my job so much easier. For anniversaries were both on our own!

Well Miles there is no question that you have a keeper (Karen) :D I have both of those items in my hangar and both get regular usage. The roll around stool sure saves a lot of getting up and down and by raising or lowering the seat you can easily get to all of the lower areas of your engine. Now you need one more thing from the Chinese Tool Store---gotta have one of their red creepers with the adjustable head rest. Sure makes getting under the plane easier to work on things and to clean the belly when that becomes necessary. (Not a bad place for a quick nap either  )

I should have bought one of these years ago. I normally use an upturned bucket because it's about the right sitting height for an oil change, but aggravating to move around on, not to mention no place to put tools.

I have a couple of creepers, but not with the adjustable headrest. Do they come with leather upholstery? Been there, done that nap thing.
