Sharon and Mort Brown

Post by DWood »

I have been in contact with Sharon and Mort Brown asking about some information on my 48 170 project and I wanted to share the following with everyone. They are really great people and a real part of Cessna Aviation history.
Hi Dan,

Yes, Mort does enjoy contact with the pilots, the airplanes, and any questions that come up. I think I mentioned it to you, but I am printing off all photos & emails for Mort to review in the winter, & from time-to-time. We have heard from over 1000 people, from all over the world (Germany, Australia, Argentina, etc, just to name a few) & it has truly humbled Mort & myself. He never knew he would touch so many lives, on so many different levels. All we can say to everyone, is thank you for being a part of his journey, & coming full circle in his lifetime. & yes, Mort enjoys maintaining contact with people...they have become our friends long distance! So never hesitate to write, send photos, etc as I will include them in your section. I am not sure if we will get Mort's early aviation history & slide presentation out by Christmas or not. If no, we will shoot for his 103rd b-day.

Til then, Kudos!
Wishing you the best in your restoration project! It is all love!

Mort & Sharon
I will open a seperate topic on my restoration question.
