Yes I can see it know. I'll get my patients to the hospital in 6 minutes verses 12 minutes assuming of course the Sikorski is not in maintenance.

I suppose on large and far away battle fields going fast to get there or cover more ground in short time could be a good thing but it just seems a bit anti-helicopter to me. Helicopters weren't successful because they could go fast, just the opposite.

Of course I did get use to zooming all over the area at 150kts in the Sikorski S76A++ I use to fly. Almost boring now that I've been slowed to 125kts in the much newer EC145.

So,.. will pilots flying that X2 require a tailwheel endorsement / sign off ?? :?: :lol:
