Hi Ron,

I've found AVEMCO to be extremely flexible, and their customer service is excellent. Rates were competitive with Travers, last time I checked.

I would have also suggested Avemco Ron although I, like you, have used Travers since they took over AIG's business. I have been with the two of them for many years & found them to be the most competitive. If you don't find success w/ Avemco or others you may try, let me know and I'll get you the phone # for Halton Hall Aviation Insurance here in Fort Worth (or you can likely pull it up on the net). They are a broker, like Travers and have access to several markets. There aren't that many aviation insurance companies out there but they might have one some of the others don't. Good luck & let us know what you find. No doubt there are other members that may have similar needs from time-to-time.

Ron,

Give Scott Meyers at Aviation West Insurance Brokers, LLC a call. He's a TIC170A member in the San Diego area. PHONE : (760) 727-7444. He should be able togive you the straight scoop on what you need.

Ron, unless things have changed in the aircraft insurance industry and underwriters aren't insuring stored aircraft, it would appear to me Travers doesn't want your business.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding what you want cause I can't imagine Travers doesn't want your business and I can't imagine they don't represent an underwriter who will insure a stored aircraft.
